Our mission

Microsoft Philanthropies wants to offer as many people as possible easy access to the topic of artificial intelligence - securely, comprehensibly and without technical hurdles.

Our task was to develop a platform that makes this possible. LerneKI.ch is a website that picks people up, provides them with knowledge - and actively involves them in the process.

The site is the centerpiece of a broad-based initiative for which Leiseder Kommunikation & Marketing is responsible and acts as a campaign hub for accompanying measures in print and social media. Our contribution: concept, UX design and implementation - from the idea to going live.

The details

LerneKI.ch combines several formats: an interactive online training course with a digital badge, a FAQ section, a public competition and a creative competition about AI in everyday life.

The user guidance is based on a dialog-oriented UX concept that conveys content in small, understandable steps and is based on an AI chat.

In technical terms, the service was hosted locally, developed in compliance with data protection regulations and designed to be accessible. Dynamic components were created with the help of AI-supported coding.

The challenge: bringing together different content and target groups under one interface - without compromising on accessibility or security.

The certain something

UX like a conversation - not like a website
Instead of classic navigation logic, LerneKI.ch relies on a guided, dialog-like user experience.

Clear design for a complex topic
The interface reduces visual complexity to the essentials - with a focus on legibility, clarity and intuitive orientation.

Secure and data protection-compliant implementation
The website is hosted locally and complies with current data protection requirements. Content can be used without logging in and personal data is only collected when necessary.

AI in the background - not just in the content
AI not only played a role in the content, but also supported the development itself.

The result

LerneKI.ch went online in March 2025. The project brings together information, participation and technological responsibility in one application - clearly structured, easy to use and trustworthy.
Whether online training, questions about AI or creative competition entries: The site makes it easy to get into the topic - without barriers.

Customer’s voice

„With the microsite, the Schittigs have implemented a fresh, interactive campaign hub that gets to the heart of all the elements of our AI campaign - inviting, clear and enriched with clever features.“
